From food and wine festivals to nature walks and action-packed sports events, there is always something to do in and around Wahroonga. Here is a list of some of the seasonal events that you should look out for:

Summer:
Summer is a great time to get out and enjoy the warm weather, and Wahroonga offers a range of outdoor activities that will keep you busy. The Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival is a popular event that takes place in January every year. The festival features a range of local food and wine vendors, as well as live entertainment and fun for the whole family. You can sample a range of delicious dishes, meet local artisans and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

If you are a nature lover, you could also take a walk through the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The park features a diverse range of flora and fauna, including kangaroos, wallabies, and a variety of birdlife. You can also explore the Aboriginal rock art that dates back to over 3,500 years. It is truly a breathtaking spot and a must-see for all visitors to Wahroonga.

Autumn:
Autumn can be one of the most beautiful seasons in Wahroonga, with the trees changing color and the air crisp and fresh. One of the best ways to enjoy the Autumn season is to take a stroll through the Wahroonga Village Walk. The walk stretches for 2km and takes you through a range of historic and art deco buildings, quaint shops, and cafes. You can also enjoy the beautiful gardens and parks throughout the village.

For the adventurous types, why not try your hand at the WildEnduro? This enduro mountain biking event takes place in March and is not for the faint-hearted. The track features technical terrain and steep descents, making it a real challenge. However, for those who are up for it, it is an exhilarating experience that is not to be missed.

Winter:
Winter in Wahroonga can be cold and wet, but that does not mean there are no activities to enjoy. The Winter Solstice Celebration takes place in June, and is a celebration of the shortest day of the year. The event features fire installations, live music, art exhibitions, and food vendors. It is a great way to warm up on a chilly winter's night.

Another winter activity is to take a drive to the Hunter Valley, which is only an hour and a half away. The region is known for its award-winning wineries, cheese factories, and chocolate factories. Take a scenic drive through the region and enjoy the stunning countryside and quaint towns.

Spring:
Spring is a time of renewal and growth, and there is no better way to celebrate this than by taking a walk through the beautiful Warrah Trig nature reserve. The reserve is home to a range of native flora and fauna, including the Warrah Wattle and the diamond python.

For those who love their exercise, why not take part in the BayRun? This 7km fun run starts in Rozelle and ends at King George Park in Gladesville, offering stunning views across the bay.
